PHARMA & SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION
Clear scientific communication. Grounded in evidence.
Scientific content support for pharmaceutical companies, medical affairs teams and healthcare brands. Turn clinical evidence into useful communication for healthcare professionals and other agreed audiences, with traceable references and a defined approval process.

The evidence matters. So does how it is explained.
A clinical paper, an educational presentation and an HCP resource each serve a different purpose. The audience needs the right level of detail, a clear message and an honest account of what the evidence can and cannot tell us.
OptiMedX helps organise complex scientific information into clear content. We agree the audience, objective, evidence base and review requirements before writing begins.
What we can develop
Clinical evidence summaries
Concise summaries of supplied or agreed publications, explaining the study design, population, findings and important limitations.
HCP educational content
Disease education, therapy-area explainers and professional articles written for the knowledge level and needs of the intended audience.
Scientific slide narratives
Evidence-led presentation outlines, slide copy and speaker notes that follow a coherent scientific story. Visual design can be scoped separately.
Medical information resources
Draft FAQs and reference-led educational resources for review by your medical team, using the agreed source materials and intended use.
Digital scientific content
Articles, email copy and content for HCP portals or other professional channels, adapted from approved source material.
Plain-language explanations
Accessible summaries and educational materials that explain medical concepts without losing essential context, uncertainty or limitations.
Medical affairs experience informs the work
OptiMedX is founded by Dr Swaroop Banothu, BPharm, PharmD. His previous experience includes Digital Medical Science Liaison work at Indegene, Medical Science Liaison work at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, and pharmaceutical research roles.
That background supports a practical understanding of scientific exchange, clinical terminology and the different needs of professional and patient audiences.
A structured route from source material to reviewed content
01 · Define the brief
Agree the audience, therapeutic area, purpose, format, source documents and approval contacts.
02 · Interpret & write
Build an outline, check the supporting evidence and develop the draft with clear reference links and balanced language.
03 · Review & finalise
Resolve consolidated feedback, track agreed revisions and deliver the final content for your organisation’s approval.
Medical, regulatory and legal approval responsibilities are agreed upfront. We support the drafting and revision process; final approval remains with the designated client reviewers. Timelines and review rounds are set out in the proposal.
Keep the science traceable
We distinguish evidence from interpretation, preserve relevant study context and avoid presenting exploratory findings as established conclusions. Product-related material is developed against the agreed approved source information and intended audience.
The scope focuses on scientific and educational communication. Regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance reports, systematic reviews and statistical analysis require separate specialist assessment and are not assumed to be included.
Common questions
Can you work from our approved materials?
Yes. Share the approved source pack, intended use and review requirements. We can adapt the material into agreed formats while maintaining the underlying scientific meaning.
Can you research the literature?
Targeted literature research can be included with an agreed question and source scope. A formal systematic review or meta-analysis is a distinct project requiring appropriate methodology and specialist support.
Are references included?
Relevant citations and a reference list are included where required by the format and brief. We agree the referencing style and source access at the start.
Do you handle final compliance approval?
We prepare content for the agreed review process and respond to feedback. Your designated medical, regulatory and legal reviewers retain responsibility for final approval.
What do you need to provide a proposal?
Send the therapeutic area, audience, content format, approximate volume, available sources and timeline. We’ll discuss the scope and review arrangements before quoting.
Let’s discuss your next scientific communication project
Share the content brief, audience and source material available. We’ll discuss deliverables, evidence requirements and a practical review timeline.
